Our story
Fixing It Right, the First Time
We are MJ Automotive Repair and Electric, run by Mario and Juan on E 12th Street in Oakland. Customers tell us the same thing again and again: we show them exactly what is wrong before we touch their car, often with photos, so nothing is a surprise when the bill arrives.
That habit of looking closely pays off. One customer came to us after being quoted $3,500 for a used transmission elsewhere. Juan popped the hood, checked the oil, and found the real issue: a $63 oil pressure sender. The whole repair came in under $200. We would rather find the cheap fix than sell you the expensive one.
